Radhika Apte to essay the role of Akshay Kumar’s wife in ‘Padman’?

It was earlier reported that Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte have been roped in ‘Padman’ movie that stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role. Now, we have come across reports which state that actress Radhika Apte will essay the role of Akshay Kumar’s nagging wife in ‘Padman’.


A source close to a web portal says, “She plays a nagging wife who is embarrassed by her husband’s concern with her menstrual cycles. She threatens to leave him if he doesn’t get over his obsession with her and other women’s periods. When he doesn’t, she leaves him, but don’t worry, the light-hearted film has a happy ending.”
